About Our Green Business Pledge

Green Mission Statement

Our green business pledge is to conduct our business in a way that minimizes our impact on the environment. We do this through the following actions:

• Signed up for Marin Energy Authorities 100% renewable Deep Green program
• Use compact flourescent bulbs and minimize lighting use (natural lighting during the day and task lighting in the evening).
• Use Energy Star equipment
• Use all non-toxic cleaners
• Use 100% recycled, unbleached paper products and minimize paper use
• Recycle all paper, glass, metal, cardboard and plastics that are accepted
• Compost food
• Don't use individual water bottles - use filtered water instead
• Print drafts on the back-side of used paper
• Shut down computer equipment completely when not in use
• Conduct most correspondence via email or phone with minimal driving
• Replace heating filters every six months
• Purchase used equipment, furniture and office supplies whenever possible and donate unused items to charity
